
Ingredients
For the batter:
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 packages chocolate pudding powder (for cooking)
- 1 package vanilla pudding powder (for cooking)
- 1 package baking powder
For the topping:
- 2 large jars sour cherries, pitted
- 2 packages vanilla pudding powder (for cooking)
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 50 g chocolate shavings
Preparation
- Mix oil, sugar, eggs, 3 packages of chocolate pudding powder, 1 package of vanilla pudding powder, and baking powder thoroughly – for at least 10 minutes. Spread the mixture on a deep baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and bake for about 15 minutes.
- Bring the sour cherries with juice and 2 packages of vanilla pudding powder (first mixed with a little cherry juice) to a boil, and spread this mixture over the still-hot cake. Allow the cake to cool for at least 1 hour.
- Whip the heavy cream and spread it over the cake. Garnish with chocolate shavings and serve.
